14 hidden & hardest unlocks — GYAO Master, DLC, and more

Eat 100 dumplings.

💡 Dumplings are at Dumpling Shop in Ch3+. Buy and eat them whenever possible. This is the rarest non-DLC achievement because it requires 100 — most players stop at 10-20.

Reach the Glacier Passage.

💡 Unlock in Ch5 after completing Duff's Arctic research quests. Bring thermal gear or you won't last 2 minutes.

Defeat the Giant Squid.

💡 First major boss in the Deep Zone (~300m). Upgrade harpoon to Lv3+ and bring healing items. Study its attack pattern — it telegraphs every move.

Reach the Hydrothermal Vents.

💡 Endgame zone in Ch6 at 400-650m depth. Fire-resistant suit mandatory. Absolute endgame content.

Raise all 14 GYAO variants.

💡 GYAO! is the virtual pet mini-game. Each variant requires specific food and care combos. Takes multiple in-game weeks. Hardest achievement in the game.

Max out the Fish Farm.

💡 Unlock in Ch4. Breed Bluefin Tuna for unlimited Chutoro. Takes significant investment but pays for itself in 10 nights.

Serve 1,000 dishes.

💡 Passive achievement. You'll get this naturally by Ch5-6 if you serve every night. Speed up by using cheaper dishes on non-VIP nights.

Complete all of Duff's photo requests.

💡 Duff gives photo missions throughout the story. Always bring your camera. Rare fish shimmer with blue sparkles — those are the photo targets.

Defeat every boss.

💡 Includes story bosses (Giant Squid, Magma Shark) and optional ones. Some bosses only appear at specific times or depths.

Upgrade Bancho Sushi to Diamond rank.

💡 Requires high customer satisfaction, upgraded equipment, and a large menu. Focus on S-tier dishes and premium staff.

Reach 650m depth.

💡 Requires maxed-out oxygen tank and depth modules. Hydrothermal Vents are the deepest point. Upgrade your submersible for the final push.

Cook every recipe.

💡 457 recipes total. Many require specific DLC or crossover fish. Use the Fish Farm to breed rare species. DLC recipes count toward this.

Get a perfect rating from Bancho.

💡 Serve VIPs flawlessly, keep wasabi stocked, and price dishes correctly. Bancho rates you at key story points — you can retry if needed.

Complete the In the Jungle storyline.

💡 Requires the paid DLC ($9.99). Build the village outpost, beat the jungle boss, and finish the new storyline. Takes ~5-8 hours of DLC content.
