Weapon Type
Harpoons

Harpoon Gun
Level 1→Level 2→Level 3→→ Shark Harpoon
Your starting weapon. Fires a single harpoon bolt. Upgraded through the iDiver app using gold only — no blueprints needed. The final upgrade transforms it into the Shark Harpoon.
Tip: Prioritize harpoon upgrades early — it's your most-used tool. At max level it deals 24 base damage.
Weapon Type
Guns

Triple Axel
Triple Axel→Quattro Axel→Penta Axel
Fires a spread of three bolts like an underwater shotgun. Excellent close-to-mid range damage when all bolts connect.
Tip: Best with status effect harpoon tips. Each bolt applies the effect — triple the proc chance.

Net Gun
Net Gun→Steel Net Gun
Fires a net that traps small-to-medium fish. Captured fish take no damage, yielding higher-grade ingredients.
Tip: Essential for the Fish Farm — captured fish can be bred. Pair with Tranq for larger captures.

Hush Dart
Hush Dart→Modified Hush Dart
A silent dart gun that puts fish to sleep. Perfect for stealth approaches and live captures without alerting nearby predators.
Tip: Combine with the Net Gun for the ultimate capture loadout. Great for FishMon challenges.

Sniper Rifle
Red Sniper Rifle→Red Sniper Rifle II→Red Sniper Rifle III
A high-damage precision rifle with a scope. Deals massive damage to a single target from long range.
Tip: Best for boss fights (especially Klaus) and taking out dangerous predators before they get close.

Grenade Launcher
Grenade Launcher→Gravity Grenade / Poison Grenade→Blackhole Grenade
Launches explosive projectiles that deal area damage. Splits into two upgrade paths: Gravity (pulls fish together) or Poison (damage over time).
Tip: Gravity path is better for grouping fish for mass harvesting. Poison path is better for sustained boss damage.
Sticky Bomb Gun
Sticky Bomb Gun→Sticky Mine
The rarest gun in the game. Fires charges that stick to targets and detonate after a delay. Combines sniper range with explosive power.
Tip: Rarest weapon drop in the game. If you find it, build around it — it carries entire dives.
Ice Gun
Ice Gun→Ultra Ice Gun
Fires freezing projectiles that slow and eventually freeze enemies solid. Frozen fish take bonus damage and can be shattered.
Tip: Essential for the Magma Turtle FishMon. Ultra Ice Gun freezes faster and has more ammo.
Weapon Type
Melee
Japanese Sword
Japanese Sword
A sharp blade with long reach, high damage, and fast cooldown. Excellent for clearing swarms of small fish.
Tip: Hits multiple fish in one swing. Great for tight cave passages where guns are awkward.
Tennis Racket
Tennis Racket
A rare melee weapon with powerful knockback — tosses fish back almost 3 meters. Deals 15 base damage.
Tip: Can knock fish into walls for bonus damage. Excellent defensive tool against aggressive predators.
Weapon Type
Special Weapons
Shock / Thunderbolt
Shock→Thunderbolt
Fires arcing lightning that chains between nearby fish. Excellent for stunning groups simultaneously.
Tip: Required for the Silver Titan Triggerfish FishMon. Chain lightning is great for harvesting schools of fish.
Poison / Hell Poison
Poison→Hell Poison
Applies a stacking poison debuff that deals damage over time. Hell Poison is a stronger variant with higher DPS.
Tip: Stacks with Poison harpoon tips. "Double poison" melts boss health bars.
Fire / Explosive
Fire Gun→Explosive Gun
Deals fire damage that burns enemies over time. Explosive variant adds area damage on hit.
Tip: Required for the Ice Stingray FishMon. Fire damage is extra effective against Glacial Area enemies.
Tranq / Death
Tranq Dart→Death Rifle
Tranq puts fish to sleep for safe capture. Death Rifle deals massive single-target damage, especially to bosses.
Tip: Tranq + Net Gun = the capture combo. Death Rifle is a solid boss-killer before you find the Sniper.
Weapon Type
Harpoon Tips
Harpoon Tips
Poison Tip→Lightning Tip→Fire Tip→Tranq Tip→Ice Tip
Special harpoon tips add elemental effects. Found in weapon chests. Each tip drains the harpoon bar faster but adds powerful status effects to your shots.
Tip: Poison is great for bosses (damage over time). Fire works well on Glacial fish. Tranq is essential for live captures.
